First Assembly Kids
First Assembly of God believes in investing in families, and that includes partnering with you to meet the spiritual needs of every child. When your child comes to First Assembly Kids ministry they will have the opportunity to learn about a God who loves them and has created them for an awesome purpose!
6-12 years
Join Pastor Dominique and the First Assembly KidsMin as they teach kids the Scriptures using methods ranging from points and prizes, to multimedia presentations and games! We pride ourselves on helping kids form lasting relationships with God and each other because it is so important for kids to understand that going through life alone isn't good for anyone!

4-5 years
In our kids ministry wing of the Family Life Center, there is a special class for kids who are smaller but no less important. The jr. Kids class is for four through five year old children who are being taught the foundations of Christian faith through interactive playtime, Bible stories, and quality care from our hardworking ministry team!
We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works. Long ago God prepared these works for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10
Babies-3 Years
Baby Bay offers quality care from people who love children and will invest not only in physical care but also spiritual care as they care for little ones in the classroom. Though these precious ones are too small to understand a lesson, our ministry team will be praying over your children and showing them the love of God as they meet their every need!

Mom's Room
Have a fussy child in church? That is ok. We don't want you to feel like you have to leave the service. But if you'd be more comfortable with a private room to comfort or feed your child, we are ready for you! Just down the hall from the sanctuary, next door to our nursery, is a fully furnished mom's room for parents (DAD TOO!) to bring their kids while they calm themselves. This room is equipped so that you can still hear and enjoy the service while you watch your child.

Secure Check-in/out
To provide a safe and secure check-in and check-out for your children, we use the Church Center program. You can set up and manage an account right from your phone before you even arrive to our campus! Just download the app, create an account, and search for First Assembly of God - New Port Richey. Then when you're on your way to service you can check-in your child and scan the QR code when you arrive to receive your security tags! (be sure to include their birthday on their profile!) This is a badge with a specific code that matches the one on your child's name tag to present to us at pick up so that we are able to release them to you.

Kids Ministry Events
Our kids have a few main events that happen every year!
Art of Praise - In the spring every year, our CREW kids are welcome to participate in a fine-arts competition with the goal of developing their God-given talents and abilities!
CREW Kids Cookbook - Every year the kids put together and sell a cookbook to the church! It's a fantastic fundraiser that's a lot of fun for the whole family!
BGMC Sunday! Every year the CREW kids do some sort of special to celebrate our yearly mission's project as well as receive an offering to aid their efforts. This varies from year to year.
Virtual Mission's Trip - In the summer every year we "visit" our BGMC project country through a one day virtual trip.
